Reminder: Payments Canada is Seeking Feedback on the Industry Roadmap & High-Level Plan

Payments Canada is seeking the public’s feedback on the Industry Roadmap & High-Level Plan for Modernization. If you have not already submitted your feedback, please do so by Friday, January 20.

In December, Payments Canada released far-reaching plans to change the payments infrastructure and rules that underpin financial transactions in Canada. These improvements are intended to create a platform for innovation, enabling new and exciting ways for Canadians to pay for goods and services, transfer money and exchange data about their payments. Supporting innovation at the customer level will be a faster, more flexible and secure payments infrastructure that puts Canada at the leading edge of payments.

Your opinion is important! Consultation is a cornerstone of Payments Canada’s public policy mandate and key to ensuring that Canada’s clearing and settlement systems continue to meet the needs of users.
