Payments Canada welcomes nominations for 2021 Member Advisory Council

Payments Canada is now accepting nominations for 2021 appointments to the Member Advisory Council (MAC). The deadline for nominations is May 28, 2021. The 2021 nominations will be effective July 1, 2021 and terms run for three years.

Payments Canada’s Member Advisory Council (MAC) is one of the key channels through which we seek input from member financial institution participants (direct and indirect) in Canada’s payments systems. With the payments landscape continuing to evolve with the introduction of new technologies and payments market participants, involvement in MAC gives more Payments Canada member organizations a voice in influencing the future of payments, including Canada’s Modernization program, ongoing operations and policies by providing advice through a collaborative process.
