Hawkins

Susan Hawkins is the Senior Vice President, Enterprise Payments, North America and Executive Vice President, U.S. Payments at TD Bank Group. In her role she has led the TD Enterprise Payments team to the design and development of a next generation enterprise payments platform, and multiple new strategies that showcase a commitment to modernizing payments for both Canada and the U.S. This includes rolling out real-time payments in the U.S., developing and rolling out an international remittance marketplace and next generation person to person payments and bill payment in the U.S., and championing an open payments API and framework strategy at TD to safely open the payments ecosystem for greater economic benefit and to foster innovation and inclusion.

Susan joined TD Bank in 2018 with more than 25 years of digital and payments innovation, product development and business leadership experience from Fidelity Global Information Services, Metavante Corporation and S&P Global.

Susan serves as a TD board member on The Clearing House digital payments and secure tokenization boards, and is also an independent board member on the private company Harvest Savings and Wealth technologies. In the past she has also served as a volunteer and board member for organizations dedicated to the support of primary and secondary education in social entrepreneurship, technology and engineering for at risk and underserved populations.

Susan holds an MS in Engineering in Human Centered Design from the University of Washington.

She resides in Toronto, Ontario.
