Payments Canada systems and operations business as usual on September 19, 2022
In consultation with the Bank of Canada and the Department of Finance, Payments Canada confirms that our systems and operations will be operational on September 19, 2022.
On September 8, 2022, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II passed away bringing an end to an unprecedented era that stretched 70 years. To mark her passing, the Government of Canada designated September 19, 2022, as a one-time federal holiday (day of mourning).
